Ina Kosturi is an acclaimed Albanian violinist, performer-composer, publicist, and Associate Professor of Violin at the University of Arts in Tirana. With a distinguished educational background in violin performance from prestigious Albanian and Italian institutions, she has dedicated her career to both interpretation and teaching. Beginning her journey as a soloist, she has seamlessly evolved into a dynamic performer-composer, captivating audiences with her artistry and versatility.
Ina has built a successful career as a concert and recital artist, performing as a soloist on prominent Albanian stages and earning numerous awards. Her collaborations with renowned Italian artists highlight her exceptional musicianship. Her repertoire spans from the elegance of early Baroque to the innovative landscapes of contemporary music, encompassing both standard and lesser-known compositions.
As a performer-composer, Ina’s work has been widely recognized and celebrated. She has garnered prestigious accolades, including:
- The Golden Award and second prize at the 2022 Oskar Rieding International Competition in Celje, Slovenia.
- The third prize in the Amadeus Composition Competition in Vienna (2023).
- The first prize at the 2023 Composition Competition at the Central Academy of Arts in Malta.
- The first prize at the 2023 Swiss International Music Competition in Lugano.
In 2024, Ina showcased her talents as a performer-composer at the Women Composers Festival of Hartford in Connecticut, USA, participating in the renowned Music Marathon.
In addition to her performance and compositional achievements, Ina serves as the head of The Art World association. In this role, she organizes the Violinistic Festival Marathon in Albania (Violinistic Greetings), collaborating with artists from around the globe to celebrate the violin and its artistry.
Her compositions are published by Universal Edition Vienna and featured prominently in their Winter Catalogue 2024–2025, ensuring her music reaches audiences worldwide.
Ina Kosturi continues to inspire as a multifaceted artist, bridging tradition and innovation, and championing the power of music across cultures and generations.
Since January 2025, she has been a Lecturer at the Vienna Premier Music Academy (VPMA), where she mentors Highly Gifted Musicians.
