Natalia Jaworek is a distinguished Polish violinist whose performances combine technical mastery with profound musical insight. A graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) in Dublin, she earned first-class honors in Music Performance, followed by postgraduate studies under Elaine Clark and Ioana Petcu-Colan. Her foundational training began at the Oskar Kolberg Music School in Radom and the Academy of Art in Szczecin, Poland, where she cultivated the artistry that defines her career today.
Renowned for her versatility, Natalia excels as both a soloist and ensemble musician. As an orchestral leader, she has held positions as Concertmaster of the RIAM Philharmonia and Assistant Concertmaster of Collegium Balticum Sinfonietta, collaborating with esteemed conductors such as Mihhail Gerts and Christian Curnyn. She is also an alumna of the FAME'S European Institute for Orchestra Performance, where she served as Assistant Concertmaster. Her performances with acclaimed ensembles, including the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Zielona Góra Philharmonic, and Castle Opera in Szczecin, exemplify her skill and leadership.
Chamber music lies at the heart of Natalia's artistic journey. She has performed at prominent festivals, including Music for Wexford, ChamberFest Dublin, and the West Cork Chamber Music Festival, offering compelling interpretations of works by composers such as Shostakovich and Brahms. Natalia’s commitment to chamber music is exemplified by her collaboration with Finnish pianist Kalle Peura in the Jaworek/Peura Duo. Together, they have presented ambitious programs featuring violin sonatas by Bohuslav Martinu, Edvard Grieg, and George Enescu, captivating audiences with their fresh and nuanced interpretations.
Natalia is also a passionate advocate for early music. She co-founded the ensemble Basso Continuo, whose acclaimed 2018 recording reflects her dedication to historically informed performance. Her solo and chamber music engagements have taken her to stages across Europe, including Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, and as far afield as China.
Highlights of Natalia’s career include a concert tour in China with the Vienna Royal Artists Orchestra project, bringing her artistry to international audiences. Her achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, such as First Prize at the Musical South Palmyra Competition in Ukraine, as well as accolades in Russia, Italy, and Poland.
Beyond the stage, Natalia is a dedicated educator who inspires students through her work at the Dublin School of Music and her innovative early childhood music programs at the Churchtown School of Music. Her dual roles as a performer and teacher reflect her belief in the transformative and unifying power of music.
Whether leading orchestras, exploring the rich world of chamber music, or nurturing the next generation of musicians, Natalia Jaworek continues to captivate and inspire with her artistry, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Since January 2025, she has been a Lecturer at the Vienna Premier Music Academy (VPMA), where she mentors Highly Gifted musicians.
