Lidija Zupančič

Lidija is a highly skilled and experienced piano teacher who offers lessons in classical and various other music genres for students, catering to all levels from beginner to advanced. With a strong educational background, Lidija studied piano at the prestigious Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and later pursued further studies in piano performance at Musikhochschule Münster in Germany. She holds a Master of Music degree and has been teaching piano since 2012.

Throughout her career, Lidija has showcased her talent in numerous solo piano recitals across Europe. She has also participated in multiple masterclasses and piano competitions, receiving several awards and recognitions for her exceptional musical abilities. Apart from solo performances, she has also been a regular performer at various events, such as weddings, private gatherings, concerts, and music festivals.

Lidija is also a sought-after piano accompanist, collaborating with instrumentalists, vocalists, choirs, and students preparing for exams and competitions. In addition to her teaching and performance career, she has experience in composing piano music, including scores for film.

Her teaching philosophy revolves around providing individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs and abilities. Lidija understands that a one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective, and thus, she ensures that each lesson is customized to help students develop the necessary skills to learn independently and reach their full potential.

Since January 2025, she has been a Lecturer at the Vienna Premier Music Academy (VPMA), where she mentors Highly Gifted musicians.
